I was very excited when I unpacked it as it looked like a more modern and compact version of the other one I have an ozone generator and we wanted a second one for larger rooms. My disappointment is due to the following factors: 1. Although it emits ozone, its smell is slightly different from the current ozone generator. It wouldn't bother me, except that the ozone smell lasts longer. 2. Although the smell of ozone lasts longer, odors remain (pet odors). That's a big issue for me and the reason I'm giving it three stars. I've considered giving it even fewer stars because the device is useless to me if it can't eliminate pet odors like my current ozone generator can, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that it does some other odors can remove for others.3 . The optional but useful remote uses a battery, which isn't standard in the US. I tried to ask the community/manufacturer what size battery is required but got no response.4. The timer on the ozone generator is not accurate when controlled by turning the knob. The reason is because I went into the room TWICE expecting it to be ready and I had time to air out and the machine was still running. You don't want to come into contact with ozone, so this is a real concern. If we can figure out the battery size of the remote and can only use ozone at bedtime (giving you at least six hours before re-entering the room), this could be a good ozone generator for non-pet odors. I look forward to hearing from other reviewers what odors it REMOVES.
