Review on πŸ“± Fully Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 256GB Renewed - Aura Glow Silver by Agung Budiyanto ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I spent 1945 characters out of 2022 allowed in the "Disadvantages" section. You may get the impression that I did not like this device. But this is not at all the case, on the contrary, I love almost every part of this device. I can talk for a long time about how wonderful this device is, because it really is. Now you can buy it for 55-60 thousand, and for this money, believe me, you will get the MAXIMUM of various chips and useful functions, no device will give you such flexibility as this smartphone. Here and DeX, and gesture control from the pen - at the university at seminars, this would be very useful to me so as not to carry a laptop with me. Synchronization with Windows has reached the levels of the "Apple ecosystem" in almost everything: a shared clipboard, viewing photos and messages, which is just not there. Well, now I want to talk about unlocking methods, since everything is very ambiguous with them. For starters, face unlock. Works quickly, but only in a well-lit environment. Unlocking at night will not work (although the retinal scanner, which was presented, it seems, in the Note7 / FE that I used, worked very cool in a dark environment), in different lighting conditions, the response results are also very unstable - it can open immediately, maybe after a couple seconds, may not open at all. In general, not FaceID, but if your hands are busy, then it will do. We do have a choice between a fingerprint scanner and a face scanner, unlike some other companies, after all. Speaking of the fingerprint scanner. Here it is subscreen and front, which I think is ideal. Plus it's ultrasonic. Yes, sometimes in ideal conditions it does not open the first time, but I tried to open it with gloves - and I somehow succeeded. Checkmate to all other smartphone manufacturers, in our difficult epidemiological situation, this is a killer feature. In general, neither the fingerprint scanner nor the face scanner is ideal, but both do their job. And I'm running out of signs, so thanks for reading.

Pros
  • Powerful, fast, beautiful, functional, blah blah blah, you all already know very well from other reviews how this device stands out among the same Chinese remnants these days (don't dislike for the Chinese, just accept the truth that most of today's Chinese, yes and not only the Chinese, it looks like a Galaxy S8 with reduced frames and a cutout for the camera / pop-up camera). For everyday use, this smartphone can provide you with everything you need, except for the 3.5mm jack.
Cons
  • The above mentioned absence of Jack disappointed, of course. I myself use Galaxy Buds, but I won’t be able to connect a phone to a computer in a line-in, for example, at least without an adapter, which Samsung was too lazy to put in the package. The box has become worse compared to Note8/9/FE boxes, I really liked the cardboard that was put on top, and the magnetic "door" was also very cool, it felt expensive, although devices with an old box are cheaper than Note10+. Terribly infuriated the transfer of the power button to the left side. Now I can't hold down the power and volume down buttons (which were at about the same level in my old NoteFE) with my fingers to take a screenshot. The quick launch of the camera, which was previously activated by double pressing the "Home" button, has sunk into oblivion, but this is not a complete jamb of this device, but of all smartphones without a physical "Home" button (but what prevented you from doing the same function with the touch "Home" button "?). The interval between two presses should be short, so it happens that the phone simply locks up instead of launching the camera. Let me remind you that initially this function was positioned as "quick access to the camera for instant capture of some event", but now you have a chance to simply lock the phone, having missed some important moment. Not very nice, let's just say. Also removed the ability to change the dimension of the grid of icons on the Quick Access Toolbar ("shutter on top" if you are an amateur). Now I feel like a grandma with bad eyesight because the icons are set to such a size that only 8 icons fit on the page on a 6.8" display . This is not a failure, right? In OneUI 2.0 on NoteFE (as opposed to 2.1, which came with from the factory my Note10+) it was possible to put a 5x5 grid on a much smaller 5.66" display and everything was perfectly visible and did not turn on by mistake. Hopefully the upcoming OneUI 2.5 will bring this back, although the chances are very slim.
