Review on Top-quality TCS Tubeless Rim Tape - 🔒 28mm x 11m Roll for Seamless Tire Installation by Elvis Bragg

I read the article on rim tape sizing. The article says to take the inside width of the rim and add 3-5mm to accommodate the inside channel. The tape should cover the shoulder of the rim to the hook of the rim (where the tire bead touches the rim). My Kappius discs have an inner width of 26.4 mm (manufacturer information). I ordered 28mm tape and it barely fit. Any wider band would be too wide. The bandwidth of my calipers was 28.27 mm (see photo). At first this tape seemed very similar to Stan's rim tape. It stretched and stuck just like Stan. However, this WTB TCS began to delaminate during installation and then began to peel off the edge (see photo). The first time this happened I thought I might have cut the edge or something. I cut out part of the stripped tape and started again. The second time paid more attention. This time I noticed that it started to delaminate as it came off the spool (see photo). I had to cut out the sections a second time and finally glued the rim together in a few pieces. Not what I need when working with the tape. If you don't mind cutting out sections of unusable tape and don't mind wrapping your rim in multiple pieces (rather than one continuous piece) then this product will work well for you. Since I don't need any unnecessary seams, cuts and overlaps with my glued rims, I will not buy this product again and will not recommend it to anyone.
