The pump came quickly. It turned out that the fuel pump problem was a symptom. The cause of the fuel pump situation was the camshaft position sensor. Turns out I tried 2 or 3 pumps before I found out. The only code I got was a leak in the fuel system. Nissan - and some other vehicles it will turn off the fuel pump. Turning off these systems when your camera is really struggling will shut down the motor before more serious damage occurs. If the sensor fails, it reacts in the same way.
