This product was obviously brought to the market too early. It takes longer to heat up than the Ultra. The manual mentions modes that are not available or not documented. For example, there is a "rice" mode, but there's nothing in the manual that describes how it works, how to use it, or what it does. When I contacted Instant Pot customer service for an explanation, they said just use pressure cook instead. And the included recipe book only has recipes for other Instant Pots. no recipe for higher pressure max. Many ultra settings are also missing, such as multigrain. And it can't be programmed for multiple cooking levels like Ultra. I just do not understand. Why have a product that is 35% more expensive (in retail prices) and positioned as 'TOP in line' when it has fewer features and those features don't work. To add one more thing that doesn't work properly, the sous vide function keeps the water temperature about 5 degrees below what you set. It is not suitable for sous vide cooking. I'm sending mine back and using Ultra instead.
