So, a few things. First, the instructions are in somewhat poor English, but passable enough to get the hang of as it's not a very complicated setup. Second, the refractory that comes with the forge is not sufficient for a proper coating. I recommend buying Satanit or ITC 100ht as a plating, this will serve you better. Third, in my product there was a small gap in the ceramic plate that allowed heating and exit from the gap along the top of the blanket that was intended to be fixed inside the forged body. Because of this, I burned off quite a bit of paint from the bodywork. Fourth, this forge will not heat steel to welding temperature no matter how hard I try. The air-fuel mixture is incredibly demanding to get a strong and even flame, but even if there is an even flame I can't get steel over a bright orange color even if I almost completely block both ends with fireclay bricks. For general forging, it's great for beginners, but if you want to weld, buy another forge.
