Review on Sling Media SB370 100 Slingbox M1 by Bryan Orozco
Once great, but extorting money through advertising is turning this wonderful box into something ugly.
I've been using Slingbox for many years - upgraded to M1 a few months ago and everything has been great. until yesterday when banner ads were turned on. It now takes up a lot of space in the player app, and not only that, the ads are animated and highly distracting while watching the show. It's not what I paid for, and adding this 'feature' after the fact is dubious at best, stupid to the extreme, as their sales will drop like a rock as a result. I'll happily upgrade my rating to 5 stars if they go back to previous ad-free software.
