I saw some negative reviews but most were very positive so I took a chance and bought this product. One of the two was broken when I received two packages. Only one was needed so no big deal. The problem was that it didn't fit. Was nowhere near fitting on the back of the GPS unit. The round part was too big and too thick. Then it was deformed on part of the part, like there was a hole in the mold where the plastic was injected. I took some sandpaper and a small file and carefully smoothed out the defect, then removed enough material for the round part to fit into the back of the GPS unit. Another issue was that the lock's latch is weak and doesn't hold it firmly in the GPS socket. After spending about 15 minutes adjusting it, it doesn't get securely fixed in the GPS. Not the best part. The only positive was that the mounting ball went really well with this part. It doesn't matter if the GPS falls off this part. You can risk it, but I don't recommend it.
