Go Power 80w Portable Solar Kit

Excellent power source to keep the RV battery charged. I recently used it to keep my Jayco Baja charged during a trip to Moab, Utah. The charger is supplied and stored in a sturdy case. It unfolds quickly and connects to the battery easily - via the battery connector. The kit includes a pigtail and clips for use on non-pigtailed batteries. Some browsers had issues with the controller, I didn't. This is a quality device. Although the Baja doesn't have a lot of interior electric lights, I replaced them with LEDs. However, Revain is back - replacement LED bulbs are available. LEDs use slightly less power from your battery to light up your camper. Power output - although I can't recall exact power outputs, I can say that it produces 13-15v in direct sunlight and supports the battery easily. closed. On a cloudy day I opened it up to see how it might work and was impressed to see that it could produce 5-6V continuously. This unit seems durable and can be weatherproof, but I haven't tested it in the rain. A few reviewers have mentioned needing an extension cord. So far I have been able to use the solar system within reach of the supplied power cord. If you are camping in a woodland camp, you may need a longer cord to find a sunny spot. The only thing that worries me is the possible theft of the device. It's an attractive unit and I don't want to leave it open unless we're in close proximity. Turning it on and off only takes a few seconds.
