7 days in use and it worked great. We started with a full load.

Bought for dry camping with our trailer. 7 days in use and it worked great. We started with a full charge of our batteries and this system was able to charge up to 100% each day (we never started below 75%). Easy to set up and pack away for the journey home.

Work as advertised.

Used for the first time last weekend and they worked great. While not required, an optional 30-foot extension is useful if you're camping in an area where you need to move the panels more than 10 feet to get the sun. However, I didn't use it and the panels fully charged my batteries every day. I intentionally left the lights on and used the battery power indefinitely, leaving the generator at home just to see how these panels would perform. You were wonderful. They are perfectly packed…

Great solar charging set.

Plug and Play! Bought to keep the battery charged in the camper. Haven't used it in an RV yet but I've used it with spare batteries and it's worked really well. I think it will be a great addition to my camping gear and I will be able to stay offline for a long time. I will recommend to friends and family and will buy again! I used it offline camping last summer and it charged my camper battery with no issues. Most days the sky was partly cloudy, but this device charged the battery to full…

Disappointing quality.

Go Power! The Valterra 80W GP-PSK-80 portable solar kit arrived today as planned. I don't know if this will work yet, but now I'm skeptical. I was disappointed to find that the junction box cover was broken and was dangling inside the folded unit when it arrived. The cover is from Hong Xin Xu PV-HX025 junction box and is made of cheap brittle plastic. This is not a trivial question. The junction box cover is important, especially if it is going to be used outdoors in inclement weather. I was…

Highly recommended after 3 years of use.

We have been using this device for 3 years and are satisfied with its performance. It charges our 2.12v deep cycle AGM batteries from 10v in the morning to 12.6 and sometimes 13v+ in about 4-5 hours a day depending on sun exposure. There is no problem with rain on the controller as it is under the panels and protected. Our Airstream is a 2014 model with LED lighting, but a heater fan and water pump are used a lot so you could run out of batteries in a few days if you're not careful. This…

Ideal for those who have a motorhome with two 6V batteries - even in winter.

After our first RV ride on the beach in Northern California in December, I can say that these solar panels have been a huge hit. We bought a new caravan and I wasn't sure how long two 6 volt batteries would last in the winter with the heater on, lights on at night etc. third dead. and these solar panels complemented them perfectly. One day it was very cloudy and there was little sunshine, so of course there wasn't much charge. But even on a short winter's day, these panels fully charged the…

Go Power 80w Portable Solar Kit

Excellent power source to keep the RV battery charged. I recently used it to keep my Jayco Baja charged during a trip to Moab, Utah. The charger is supplied and stored in a sturdy case. It unfolds quickly and connects to the battery easily - via the battery connector. The kit includes a pigtail and clips for use on non-pigtailed batteries. Some browsers had issues with the controller, I didn't. This is a quality device. Although the Baja doesn't have a lot of interior electric lights, I…
