I was disappointed to find that the junction box cover was broken and was dangling inside the folded unit when it arrived. The cover is from Hong Xin Xu PV-HX025 junction box and is made of cheap brittle plastic. This is not a trivial question. We have been using this device for 3 years and are satisfied with its performance. It charges our 2.12v deep cycle AGM batteries from 10v in the morning to 12.6 and sometimes 13v+ in about 4-5 hours a day depending on sun exposure. Excellent power source to keep the RV battery charged. I recently used it to keep my Jayco Baja charged during a trip to Moab, Utah. The charger is supplied and stored in a sturdy case. It unfolds quickly and connects to the battery easily - via the battery connector. The kit includes a pigtail and clips for use on non-pigtailed batteries.
