Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ ECCPP Towing Mirrors Tow Mirrors Replacement for Dodge Ram 1500 2500 - Power Heated Side Mirrors Pair Set by Daniel Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Modest rating. Great replacement upgrade.

Ram 1500 ST 2007 These mirrors were purchased because my wife got caught on a pole while reversing. Yes. Great for hauling and fine hunting that your significant other will have to SEARCH for more when secured. If you NEED to tow mirrors or your original mirrors broke they will do the job; but I would not recommend changing them to currently working mirrors. Good: In any case, these mirrors are direct OEM replacements, but the build quality and finish is about a 7 out of 10. They're solid and functional, and the power-to-mirror connector matches the OEM. The position locks are secure and audible, but fold and unfold easily enough with minimal to little effort. The Bad: I hope, however, that you haven't thrown away your old mirrors because you need the bolts from the original mirrors. The bolts on it are good quality but 2 out of 3 bolts don't go through the door frame long enough to fit a nut. The bobby pins they attach will stick out and give you false hope because you were able to put ONE in there, and then you'll be stuck there cursing and arguing and angry until you change out your old bobby pins; and then you will wonder why you spent the last 2 hours installing a mirror. Easy enough with a basic wrench, but it's only plastic so don't freak out tightening them. The glass is decent, but I swear the passenger's primary mirror looks like a magnifying glass. Blind spots do exactly what they're supposed to; there are no complaints. I wish I could convince my wife that trees don't jump at you anywhere. Especially the same tree. It's been 80 years now. Poor bumper. (Twice.)

Pros
  • ๐ŸŽ„MULTIFUNCTIONAL - Mains powered, heated, manual fold, no warning lights, no puddle lights, replacement.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
