Review on Jiusion Illuminated Magnifier Magnifying Microscope Camera & Photo by Jerry Moody

This is a compact, durable product that I first used in a mushroom class at a farm outside of Baltimore, Maryland. The teacher had several of these magnifying glasses so the students could study the subtle differences that distinguish the various mushrooms and mushrooms found on the field trip. They belonged to the same brand and were an excellent addition to classroom fieldwork. When I found them online I was impressed with the low price for the quality. The 30X lens was very impressive as it captured the smallest details that were barely visible to the eye. But the 60x objective was just amazing and just got microscopic. We used this for our diamonds where we could see the depth of occlusion behind the face. We've also used it to study the stamens and pistils of flowers, the veins of leaves (as well as the microorganisms and fungi on the underside of leaf litter), and the microscopic fibers that make up the surface of our COVID-19 face masks. A small light switch can be set to work with any lens in a very intuitive way. I ordered one of these for each of my children to use in the field or at home with my grandchildren. Very worthy product practically free.
