First just plug in the USB cable and the camera was recognized by my computer (Win 10). I remember reading a review that said you CANNOT use the upscaling feature in 4K resolution. The rating was correct. No zoom in 4k. But in 1080P it worked perfectly. My biggest complaint is that when I zoom in to 5x, my camera is in the room opposite the couch where I use my computer (about 8 feet from a 65-inch 4K TV and wireless keyboard and mouse removed). The zoom function looks great. and it seems like I'm close to the camera, but when I stop and restart the app I have to reset it every time. Updated note: the instructions state that you can press and hold the zoom button to quickly zoom in. That is not right. It only recognizes single button presses to zoom, and it takes about 20+ clicks to get a 5x zoom. Variety is annoying. Backup Ability This camera needs some minor design changes to make it a 5 star product.
