I have several Lamical products because their products are well designed. I was a bit disappointed with this because the connections where you connect the base to the platform are loose. I can still use it but Lamical products are usually very well made. Also note that this stand is NOT adjustable - it's basically a solid aluminum stand. UPDATE: Lamical contacted me and suggested another model. This one works great. Again, the original product was not like other Lamical products I own. Their customer service was the same: Excellent.
