I'm returning the model I bought today because it doesn't work with our phone system. This requires a conventional analogue terrestrial line. I tried making a relay call (HCO) several times and everything I sent was garbled. Luckily the relay operator was able to figure out most of it, but that's their fault, not the phone's. A friend pointed out to me that iPhones running iOS 10 and above have built-in TTY functionality (in accessibility in general settings), so I tried it last night and it was like a chat session with a relay operator . Of course I would prefer to use a TTY phone's keypad, but the keypad is useless if the message is garbled. Don't get me wrong, the phone works. It is easy to use and the display is easy to read. However, the product information should clearly state that it only works over the analogue landline network. The fact that the phone is not compatible with modern phone systems is a big blow to it. Already update it for VoIP and Bluetooth headsets.
