Review on ACDelco 45H2133 Professional Rear Spring by Jeff Sorensen

Pay extra $$$: coil springs

AC Delco parts are what you need. The price is a bit higher than the fakes and they went in easily. I had to get spring compressors from Autozone but other than that they're just what you need. I bought top spring insulators, Mooer?. Incidentally, I had trouble getting old air springs out, a common problem. What has worked great for me is the chisel, which is pretty sharp. and a hammer. I removed the lower air spring, everything but the stuck upper base. Then insert the chisel into the base. These bases rotate counter-clockwise as you look at them. Hit the chisel to drive it into the base so that as you hit the force pushes against the base in the direction it's turning. Nice and square on the radius of the base. By tapping the base lightly with a hammer, you can also loosen dirt trapped in the rail. At some point he turns around. One came out after a few hits and the other was a bit more difficult, but the technique worked without damaging the car or breaking the base. Watch out for more dirt and rust.
