I bought this product because I wanted to run cables in two other rooms besides the main room with the main cable source. I hooked up my cable lines first and only had 5-6 channels along with a weak signal message. I ran the automatic program several times and ended up with 1-2 channels more/less. The number of channels has never been the same as the cable in the main room. After installing this product and running the automatic program I now get ALL the channels in both dining rooms that I get in the main room. I'm so happy I bought this! It definitely works! The cable company wanted to charge me a tidy sum and a service fee when I was asked to purchase this $50 product. The best investment!
