Review on πŸ”Œ Electrically Conductive Solder Wire from Sciplus by Eric Wohlman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well on contact, without a soldering iron. But don't spill! It has separate layers, like epoxy. you have to stir

It looks like it will make a good conductive connection without using anything else like a soldering iron. I tried it on a broken car antenna wire that was in a place where a soldering iron couldn't be used. This made a good electrical connection! A word of caution! The tiny container is filled to the brim with pitch-black liquid, which separates into a very fluffy upper layer of liquid and a much thicker lower layer. DO NOT SPILL A VERY LIQUID TOP COAT! It stains whatever you spill it on and is as thin as water. Be careful with the small container! There is no "inner seal" or anything like that. When the lid is closed you have black liquid up to the rim of the container. Using a toothpick, mix the bottom, thicker layer of material very CAREFULLY with the very thin, very liquid layer on top. Mix thoroughly! Then use a toothpick to apply the mixed substance to whatever you want in a conductive state. Be patient and let it dry overnight! You will probably be happy with the result.
