Review on 🏃 Nathan VaporHowe Hydration Pack Running Vest with Two 12oz Flasks and Extended Straws by Gerald Hill

I just can't recommend it highly enough. I bought it for a race, yes I know it's the worst idea, but I didn't have a choice because it was my first trail half marathon and I didn't have a wetsuit. I first chose Salomon Adv Skin 8 but got the wrong size (I ordered XS so I couldn't use it. Then I decided not to buy a new Salomon (it was bulky, hot and my armpit felt too small) - I thought mine was so small that I wasn't even sure if size S would fit me - of course I measured myself). I'm 5.3 with a 34 chest. I came back to read the reviews on Nathan Vaporhowe, there are 62 which was a pretty good record and I just went for it. The day before the race when I got it: Although I used a hydration belt for my entire workout, I had absolutely no experience running with hydration vests, the product felt totally comfortable right out of the box. I rinsed the bottles, took a sip - very lightly and felt like he was just sitting there and I didn't notice. Granola bars, salt and off to bed Race day: it was just perfect No chafing, I even took off my shirt when I got sooo hot, walked in a sports bra (above) and never felt the vest chafing. The water was perfect, I was able to fill it up during the race without any problems, nothing spilled! I love the stuff! Really soft to the touch. I came home and hand washed it. The only downside is that I can't put my iPhone X in the OtterBox. There is a front zip pocket but it is too narrow. So I put it in a waterproof bag (with a big clip at the top and a string) and put it in the back compartment where the hydration bladder goes. It was great because I left the cord outside so I could easily tug on it and get my phone. The race went through 5 rivers so I had to protect it, it wouldn't fit in any other bag while it was in the bag. Why this and not the second option? This one had more reviews, with only 4 reviews for the second version saying it's really difficult to clean. Since I wasn't 100% sure of the size, this one had side straps in case I needed to tighten them. But I didn't have to hesitate. I asked a question here on Amazon to choose the size and it helped me a lot, 99% said S would be perfect and I took a chance. I just can't recommend it more.
