It should be a 5x shirt and it fits like a 4x. But I can handle it because I can put the tie on before the buttons and the middle is covered. Collar was too tight for 5x. But I customized the shirt for the occasion by removing the button from the collar and sewing it as close to the hem of the shirt as I could, then cutting a hole for the button up to the hem so I could button it up. Then, to hide that it's too small and I changed the top button, I tie a large Windsor instead of a tie. I thought of just making a big slit in the back of the shirt to button it up in front, but then I would have to wear a waistcoat to cover the back of the shirt whenever I took off my suit or tuxedo. I tried loosening the fit by removing the stitching from one side of the shirt but that didn't work so I sewed it back on manually. Although the cuff button holes fit on the cuffs.
