I have older ZinsCo switch boxes. I had a circuit breaker that melted a tire and I had to rebuild or replace it. EVERY electrician wanted my box "upgrade" for over $3500 I found the engineer who designed the unit and he sold conversion kits and explained that the only failure of the system occurred during installation when the installer was unable to sandpaper sanding with 4000 grit and coating the new rail with electric lube that forms a barrier between the switch and the stem to prevent oxidation.
