Longer than many pricier sets and of comparable quality

If you have questions, this is Gearwrench branding. They are sometimes called KD Tools. Both companies are part of the Apex Tool Group and sometimes I think that maybe when changing companies, the same products could be labeled twice or just wrong. I do not know. By no means do you expect most of these instruments to be made in America if that is what you believe. Tools are still cheaply made, but way better than really cheap tools. As for this set of torx sockets, I really like them. The socket ends look and feel very good. The polish looks like a more expensive product. Torx tips are clearly of lower quality. It's not the hardened steel you see in SnapOn and MAC sockets, but for the price I wouldn't expect it. I have a feeling that the ends will curl up with excessive use/torque. However, they do have a lifetime guarantee. And the best part is, you can guarantee them at any Gearwrench retailer. Sears, SnapOn, MAC, and Matco sell Gearwrench, so that's a huge plus. I recommend them to everyone. I use them regularly at work, mainly for BMWs. I haven't had a break yet, or even a twist, but I think I will eventually. The only thing I would have liked for this kit was a molded plastic case instead of a clip rail. The rail holds them very tight, but I guess I'm spoiled with MAC plastic cases for torxes and specialty sockets. Nothing bad. Still a good device for the price.
