I got this product despite reading many reviews from people saying it causes infections. I ordered them in rose gold and honestly I couldn't be happier. I understand that if you have infection prone skin you are likely to get infected, but if so then I have a solution for you: Before putting plugs and rings in your nose, soak them in saline solution (you can use contact solution) . for 5 minutes. Then, without rinsing, soak in the sea salt solution for another 5 minutes. This was my way of sterilizing the bolts and rings before installing them. They are very pretty and honestly don't seem fragile at all. The only reason I gave 4 stars for comfort is because I tried them all when I first received them and sterilized them and it caused a little redness but it will definitely happen if you use it consistently to do.
