Review on 🔧 K&N 33-2342: High Performance Air Filter for Honda (2005-2014) - Premium, Washable Replacement Filter by Chris Kaul

Even on a 2009 Honda Civic 1.8L (non-Si engine) this filter change made an immediate impression. After the engine hiccuped once on first start - no doubt because the MAF was used to a larger draft - it ran smoother and even shifts were better and less "clunky". No, this isn't a transmission filter, but a more efficient engine certainly has an impact on the transmission, such as the transmission. This is an automatic so the difference was more noticeable than my manual Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Matrix actually). My wife noticed the difference too, all the more so because this is her everyday car. K&N has proven its performance pedigree and even in this inefficient engine, this filter has greatly improved performance and efficiency.
