I used two of these switches to install 19 inch network switches on my office wall at my desk. to be fixed firmly to the wall. I had no idea what the included anchor bolts were for as there were no installation instructions, so I ignored them and just drilled holes and put in plastic drywall anchors and regular screws. The most frustrating moment was inserting nuts into the square holes to attach the network device to their "ears". They were very difficult to hit and my thumbs weren't happy with the effort. Also, you may need to bend/twist the bracket to make it sit flat against the wall.
