It can be used as part of our dispatch center work flow for both 911 calls and non-911 related incidents. I like that it allows us to search for incident locations within different layers or zoom out/in to get more details about an incident. There are several ways in which we can interact with this software, some ways require training but others allow you to learn how use quickly. For example, there isn't anywhere where you could input multiple addresses into one incident location field such as if the address was broken down by building, room etc. We have found it useful when searching through incident reports for any particular area within the city limits where there is no indication of an exact street number or property reference point. As mentioned above, not all functions might be intuitive at first glance depending upon your familiarity level with using similar programs. However, once you start utilizing the information, it makes sense!
