Not safe to use on cleaning sponges and swabs

The description of this product is misleading. What you are buying is *not* safe for China. You are basically buying waterproof "sandpaper"! I would say the grit was in the 100-120 range. It is very convenient to use on a polished surface like a toilet. For example, to polish the paint on a car, you can use 320 to 1000 grit sandpaper, followed by a polishing paste. Yes, this product removes limescale rings from the toilet bowl, but it will wear down the polished surface of the bowl fairly quickly. What happens next is that the bowl looks dull and picks up even more unsightly scale and stains as such water contaminants now penetrate deeper and faster. Even the instructions for use warn the user to "test" it first on a part of the interface you can't see. The problem is that the eyes cannot see the excessive wear until the surface is permanently eroded and the bowl is damaged. I suppose if you already have a toilet on its last legs, say at a gas station, you will love this product. But for a relatively new addition to your home, stay away. If all else fails, try buying a sheet of 320 grit (black) or slightly finer wet/dry sandpaper at your local hardware store. Also a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Gentle and easy to use - dampen and gently rub surface
Cons
  • Long delivery time
