I bought this for balcony lights. I had no problems. Setup is easy and even gives you the option to calibrate the brightness range. The calibration function is particularly important when using dimmable LED lamps, which can flicker erratically at lower brightness levels with regular dimmers. Pros: - solid construction - easy setup - excellent brightness calibration function - this is one of the few smart plugs with dimming function. Cons: - can overheat in direct sunlight on a hot day while working (just inconvenient, it has a safety feature that disables the plug to avoid a fire hazard if an elevated temperature is detected)
