My 2007 Cadillac Escalade does NOT have a glove box light and was not included. No other owner has either. I have one now after installing one of these mailbox lights. This has proven useful about half a dozen times and is now officially considered a really pregnant idea. Open the glove box and light it immediately. No need to take the dash apart and look for a hot wire for a bulb you don't have, no need to buy a drill for an NC (normally closed) switch to power the bulb, and no need to find earth. There are other GM models without glove box lights that would benefit from installing one of these lights. Confirming that someone you know gets scammed the same way, they will be pleasantly surprised when you surprise them with one of them. I have a camera with a flash there and now I can find it if a squash bag jumps in front of my car at night.
