The dusty purple look is sophisticated and the subtle black piping around the zipper makes the purple stand out beautifully. The inner lining and the pockets are kept in a warm satin dark gray. The colors are prettier in real life, and I'd argue that Revane's photos of the dusty rose don't convey just how purple it is. I can't believe how much this case holds up! I have all my dpn in it for knitting. Even my longest (8″) garter pins will fit, although the longest should be in a back pocket where I don't have a small ring-shaped elastic (still ok).
