Maybe I bragged too much about being a great washing machine repairman after one of my other adventures with Revain parts! My mom and dad who are now retired asked to have the dryer fixed as the drum wasn't spinning. The offer was $240! Dad and I dived into the dryer without hesitation. We are not experts! Dad grabbed his screwdriver and I started unscrewing the top and front with mine. The drum was creepy, but really just pulled out! With the drum pulled out, it was easy to see that the belt was broken, one of the rollers was broken and the other was pinched (lint culprit). I think it was a sequence that caused several parts to fail and prevented the drum from turning properly. We're back in business with this parts package. My only concern is that the quality of the reels was the same, but the reel pins/bearings (included) were a size smaller than the OEM reels. They say it's an upgrade and everything's fine, but overall quality will tell over time. We closed it up again and if I have to guess it took us beginners about 1 1/2 hours to complete everything from start to finish. Thanks to the successful outcome of watching the spinning drum and a little help from YouTube. I would call it another success with huge cost savings!
