Last Update: I have finally managed to stick it to the floor with Gorilla Tape sticky squares and trim them to fit which will likely be permanent but I guess I don't plan on ever taking it off anyway. It initially cost me half what I paid for the doorstop, but at least I have a working, secure doorstop. Another star for selling with 3M's totally inadequate mounting pads. NOTE REVIEWS ABOUT ADHESIVE TAPES! This piece does the job I bought it for... Well at least now after enduring being locked in the bathroom after a night when the door fastener came loose from the tape and caused it to fall onto the floor from the inside . door and effectively turned it into a doorstop - ironic, I know - against tiles right in the jamb. Luckily my wife had the brilliant idea of slipping a spatula under the door to raise the faucet just enough for us to open the door and let ourselves back into the bathroom. I reassembled the door part with screws. Use glue at your own risk or for your own pleasure if you like comedy errors. (Hopefully the glue on the floor will hold it in place because I won't be drilling holes in the tile...) Speaking of comedic bugs, take a close look at the photo in the listing, which shows two ways to attach them fasten . I've already covered the dangers of glue, but notice the other picture: the fourth screw with two anchors and an Allen key. Be aware that the screws are Phillips head screws, all four, and the Allen key is a standard Allen key. So if you have a drill and a Phillips screwdriver or bit, you can install these screws. Basically, this company adds an allen wrench for any other project you might need an allen wrench for, since you can't use an allen wrench for that item. If it weren't for the free Allen key and useless door mounting adhesive, this company could probably sell this item a little cheaper. But due to the either unnecessary or useless extras, I can only give this one three stars. UPDATE: from 3 to one star. It hasn't even been a week and the photo shows that adhesive on the floor mount made the mount slide off the SECOND TIME. So soon he will lose all footing and all cunning will be useless. So sad...the idea is great but the execution just doesn't hold up. Might try to come back.
