Working - Parts

I installed airbags on my 2017 Ford F150 XLT 4X4. Would give 5 stars except the fittings didn't close fully and it has a very slow leak, no problem just went to the parts store and bought several and now it works great. I've seen other reviews saying it hurts the ride and you lose travel. Well the ride is an AIR BAG ride system that doesn't feel like a traditional leaf spring shock absorber. I love air rides and even when I was 70psi I was riding and it was very bad with no load. As far as travel goes, technically you don't lose your trip, it's just that the bags allow you to go to a certain limit of what they were designed to do. I have a 32 foot 5 wheel RV that weighs 11,000 pounds and I have these airbags to keep it level. At 60 psi my truck was at camp height. When I aired it out to 100psi, the truck was about 2 inches taller than stock height. I noticed that my empty truck is now 2 inches higher than stock. Still looks good since I installed the alignment kit in front of the pockets. Overall I am satisfied with this kit. All the necessary parts came, installation took 2 hours. I plan on installing an air compressor now so I don't have to be near somewhere that has air when I need to air out the load bags a bit. The bags appear to be very well folded with the clips. Would recommend to anyone who needs to move a heavy load without the truck sagging.
