Need a better design or clearer instructions
The image on the instructions needs to be MUCH LARGER and clearer so you can see exactly what you are supposed to do. The end of the strap will tend to feed back through and then you are screwed. No way to get it off except cutting it. We had to cut these brand new straps to get them off. I bought four and the first two are already ruined. I read the instructions but could not tell from the diagram what they meant. I guess I would have had to somehow hold the free end in my hand while also having to use both hands to work the ratchet. There needs to be a guard or clip to keep the free end from feeding back through. Otherwise these are good sturdy straps and ratchets.
