Description of UV, Moisture And Chemical Resistant Tuff Tying Twine For Commercial Bundling & Packaging - 1 Ply, 3500Ft, White Polypropylene By SGT KNOTS

INDOOR / OUTDOOR RESISTANCE - Our tuff tying twine is perfect for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Polypropylene is almost 100% waterproof and floats on water, making it useful for most marine and nautical applications. The synthetic fibers feature high-end resistance to temperature, oils, alkalis, and gasoline. Electricians choose polypropylene because it acts as a lightweight and flexible insulator.

Strong, but you're adding plastic to the environment

The 2 ply twine has worked well for our side-of-the-road firewood business. It is strong, easy to tie, the knots to do not slip and it does not stretch over time. But you need to be aware that you are adding plastic to the environment when you use this twine. I tried natural jute twine but it is not as strong and stretches terribly making my wood bundles difficult to deal with. I'm still looking for a biodegradable alternative and, in the mean time, I will continue my counseling sessions over…

Pros
  • I worth’s the money
Cons
  • Limited color options may not suit all branding needs

TERRIBLE! NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE! (Hidden info on BOTTOM of box!)

I bought two large spools of this twine because it touted how great it was indoor/outdoor use. Only when I went to throw away the leftover twine did I see on the BOTTOM OF THE BOX this message: Not intended for use with extended exposure to direct sunlight or UV light. That would have been nice to know before I spent $50 on this twine that disintegrated in our community garden! Don't get tricked like I did. I am very dis-satisfied! :(

Pros
  • Great product and good price
Cons
  • Not biodegradable, potentially adding to environmental waste

The best poly twine.

My use doesn't need the strength of 3 ply, but I use it rather than 2 ply because I can tie knots in it where I want them to be, whereas with 2 ply the interweave of adjacent strands in the knot pretty much determines where the finished knot will be. With 3 ply twine that does not happen.

Pros
  • very useful in the garage
Cons
  • Too slippery, causing packages to slide around during transportation

Well Made - Highly Recommended!

Unlike many types of rope and twine, this product held up to the strength test. I tied plenty of yard debris bundles (including heavy logs) and had no problems.

Pros
  • I use it to do lashing with the Boy Scouts. It works great!!!
Cons
  • Limited length may not suit large-volume commercial needs

Good pretty tough - my new review

Just what I ordered! Pretty strong stuff. I order this for my customers to tie down there mattresses with if they don’t have rope. (79%) +- don’t and use this twine. Good stuff.

Pros
  • It works great to tighten branches and sticks, strong enough to hold them tight.
Cons
  • Not durable enough to withstand rough handling during shipping

extremely strong good for me

My order was delivered as promised. The twine is extremely strong and will be more than adequate forbundling branches and other gardening and household uses.

Pros
  • It's a sturdy line. Great for binding
Cons
  • Does not stretch, making it difficult to tie tight knots

I was looking for strong twine to bundle firewood. This twine (3 ply) is perfect for my purpose. I will also use for tying tarps down and in the garden. Perfect service!

Pros
  • Works great for tying bundles.
Cons
  • Could be too thick for certain packaging needs

Valuable and durable

Excellent twine. Bought a box for a week long camping trip and wasn’t disappointed. Held tarps up 20 feet from the ground in several severe thunderstorms without any issues. Will buy more when it runs out!

Pros
  • worked great for replacing a outdoor seat cushion.
Cons
  • May not be flexible enough for some bundling tasks

Great Product and Service

I ordered this product to tie up insulation under my house. I have used other product previous and had alright results, but would usually get some spots that would break over time. This product is quite a bit thicker and seems way better made, so I have no concerns with it. I will say that working with SGT KNOTS was great! They followed up with me after they shipped and again later, so customer service was great! Also, they are a veteran run company, so I was glad to support them.

Pros
  • We are trying to keep deer out of the garden! This was perfect for that! Strong and a lot of it!!
Cons
  • Excessive packaging may contribute to environmental waste

Heavy Duty for my opinion

I am taking down shrubs and small trees. My town picks up tied bundles. This twine could moor a ship! Excellent product. Can be difficult to handle due to excessive stiffness.

Pros
  • Very strong twine that should hold up all season in my garden.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to handle due to excessive stiffness

Love love love it. in my review

I used to buy a similar one from Home Depot at a higher price. So glad I found this one. I use it mainly to tie bottles to make a fence. It works perfectly.

Pros
  • A++
Cons
  • Limited availability in certain regions or markets

Works Great - my new review

I used this type of twine/rope when I managed a mattress store in Phoenix, Arizona. We used it to tie mattress sets on top of car roofs so customers could take their new mattress sets home with them. I used a slip knot so it would be easy for them to release the twine/rope. I never lost a mattress set that I tied down. I bought this box because I was out of twine/rope from the box I took from the mattress store when i left and I was moving and I knew I needed to secure things in the U-haul…

Pros
  • Delivered on time and as described
Cons
  • Not recommended for use with food or medical-related products

Strong and durable - my new review

I'm a groundwater sampler. I tie this twine on bailers to retrieve water from monitoring wells. I like this twine because it's durable, and doesn't knot up when I lower the bailer into the well. It's easy to measure out what I need right from the box. The box rips with regular use, but it's still holding up well.

Pros
  • Will buy again after this one.
Cons
  • Could become tangled easily during storage or handling

As expected on my review.

Shipped fast and was exactly what I needed. Use for tying down fencing to customers cars/trucks at our fencing company, works perfectly

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Not suitable for long-term outdoor storage

This Twine Is The REAL McCoy

This is the same heavy-duty, commercial quality twine that we use at my workplace. I like it sooo much, I hunted it down on Revain and decided to buy a 'lifetime supply' for home use.I know. Why not just bring a box home from work, right? All I can tell you is, it's better to be honest, and sleep soundly at night, than to worry about losing one's job over a box of twine -- especially at these prices. That said, while I'm not paranoid or anything, I'm keeping the receipt handy, just in case…

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Prone to yellowing with prolonged exposure to sunlight

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It will stretch over time

Great value. Great twine. I used it to mark 400 ft long lines in a field for planting trees and I always had it under tension. After marking multiple lines over several weeks, the line did stretch a bit. That was the only problem I had with the product. I should have looked for something that wouldn’t stretch. Otherwise, it worked well.

Pros
  • Does great for what we bought it for. Our garden
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for tying products with sharp edges

It's Nearly Indestructible

When I had a ranch our hay was baled using this kind of twine. I used it for everything from tying up a fence that had broken to holding the tarp over the stall area down. It's great, tough and since it's white, it goes with everything. :)

Pros
  • Strong,works very well,good purchase
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing for certain products
