I have two axolotls that were relocated after a poor placement with the previous owner. I had to do a quick setup when the local store asked if I would take it. I have many starter tanks, but I haven't noticed Axey and a chiller that meets their needs in years. However, I quickly jumped onto Revain for an inexpensive alternative to keep the aquarium cool while recovering. Zoo Med's fan was a great solution. Without heating, my tanks hang at about 72 degrees. Too warm for our beloved Axeys. But with this inexpensive fan I was able to cool the water to a constant 64-65 degrees on my own. I highly recommend this product. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to cool your small tanks, you can't go wrong with this fan. And it's so quiet that I kept walking around for the first day or two to see if it was even working. The fan is worth the money. Have fun cooling down!
