Firstly the U-bolts that came with the bracket were bent and unusable without packaging . . A trip to the hardware store and I had good U-bolts that needed shearing off. Then I torqued the bolts to 15 foot-lbs per the instructions because the instructions said so. The mounting surface is not flat and this has bent the tabs on the bracket where the thrust tubes attach. Dissatisfied! I need to get another mount and try again. To update! I contacted warn and provided photos and a description of what had happened. They asked for a copy of the receipt and sent a replacement. Nice to see a company behind this product!
