Review on Neiko πŸ”§ 11402A Stubby 4-Inch Exchange by Frank Tyrance

Good buy and unique solution

I was pleasantly surprised with the Brad Point tips I received - they are very well made and showed no signs of rusting or long term durability. I'm sure it varies from package to package, but what I received was decently finished (better than most cheap Chinese drill bits, but not high quality grinding, finishing or sharpening). They all rotate correctly, and the two I've used so far both cut well - really got me out of a bind repairing a narrow adjustable bookshelf and installing dowels in an office desk without much disassembly. The plastic bit holder does not hold all bits and does not have side case pins as shown in the actual product photo. I wish they came in a small case to protect them - I'd happily pay fifty cents or a dollar extra for a decent little case. I considered getting a cheap set of bolt pullers from Harbor Freight (about $8 after coupon) just for the case, but made room in the Makita bit case instead. Decent bits, I would buy them again and would recommend them if used properly and don't mind being touched up when you get them.
