The water bottle itself is great, but I hate the gear that goes with it! Not everyone needs nuts filled with silicon (or whatever) to prevent the bird from ripping them off. My bird is not a hardware enthusiast and I would have preferred regular nuts or even wing nuts to be included as an option. Only people with birds who are passionate about removing gear should attach it using a socket wrench inside the cage to prevent the nut from moving and screwdrivers on the outside of the cage to tighten the screw. . It's a really upsetting experience and I never want to go through it again. Also, good luck repositioning this thing. Better buy a new one and cut it off the cage (perfectly serious here). My second issue is that the drinking tube won't go through the smaller bars without bending them - unless you have a large gap between the bars you will have to bend the bars to push them into the cage. It's doable, but also annoying. I have a brown-crowned parakeet (similar to the Senegal parakeet) and wanted a larger water bottle for when I go on vacation, but the drinking tube is quite large FYI.
