This diamond cutting wheel is designed with the cutting edge being slightly wider than the center hub. This prevents the hub from binding during cuts. There are also three cutting edge fingers that extend about 7/8" toward the hub. These fingers ehlp keep the cutting path open so the cutting wheel doesn't pinch.I have only cut brick with this diamond wheel so far. Be advised that using it on an angle grinder will produce a lot of dust, so safety glasses and a dust mask are a must.It made nice cuts and did not attept to bind up or stick. I'd recommend this diamond cutoff wheel especially for cutting bricks. I haven't tried it on concrete, marble or grainte but I would expect it to do just as well on those situations.
