I followed the instructions which were clear and the whole process took about 15 minutes. The only wire I had to run was from the mirror to the accessory port on the front.It says how to run the wire so it can be hidden but that is the only wire.My 2011 Honda CRV didn't have a backup camera and I thought the only way to get one would be to run some wires from one end of my car to the other.i never knew such a thing existed.this has been the best find so far and i love using it!now can my car can be as beautiful as these new models and I can back up more safely and confidently.The mirror's touchscreen is a nice feature, as is the little button to wake it up from standby.
