I installed them on my 2006 Ford F-250 Lariat. They replaced my original rear shock absorbers (159,000 miles). Installation was easy. I removed/installed the shock absorbers without removing the tire. Removing the old shock was fairly easy. The brake line is blocking the passenger side. Remove the bracket holding the line before removing the old damper. Penetrating oil is required to disassemble equipment. The shock comes with a band around it to keep the shock compressed. I recommend putting a strip or two of tape around the shock to hold it in place. After attaching the shock to the top mounting bolt, I lifted the truck onto the frame to align the bottom mounting bracket. Use a rubber mallet to drive in the bolt and secure the nut. It took me 45 minutes to remove/install the new shock for each shock. I also replaced the front shock absorbers. The ride on all 4 new shock absorbers was very smooth. I recommend them as replacement shock absorbers for the Ford F-250.
