After using it on my 2012 Subaru Forester my first impression was great. It offers a very secure fit both in the CD slot and between the magnet and the phone. I can remove the phone with one hand without removing the cradle from the CD slot, although I use two hands just in case. The hinge is smooth to adjust the phone at any angle. Since it uses the CD slot, everything else I need to use is completely uncovered. Some radio station selection buttons remain behind the phone if present, but are available when needed. You can install it upside down to put the phone in a lower position, but it's at eye level, which I think is ideal. I used it for the first time last night during a tropical storm on some pretty rough roads and it didn't even wobble. I have incorporated a rectangular metal plate into a phone case where it retains a very strong grip and there is a clear screen protector. The kit includes a metal plate to protect the phone. Finally, if the slot in the CD player is too wide, three silicone adhesive pads are included for a better grip. a piece of metal screw, not a metal threaded rod with plastic wings attached, so it shouldn't fall apart. Easy to assemble, can be installed in minutes. it looks like like this company had all the bases covered. I was the guinea pig for this purchase so now my wife wants it and she will get it. I recommend.
