The front brakes were making a grinding noise so I figured it was time to work on the brakes. I got it right as the front left outer pad was lowered onto a metal plate in one corner of the pad. I saved hundreds of dollars by making my own brakes on my Honda Odyssey. The pads came with grease and seals so I didn't have to reuse my old seals and I really didn't need any extra lube. There were no break-in instructions (several hard stops from 80 to 20 km/h about 10 times in a row to keep the rims warm, then driving for about 5 minutes to cool down, they smelled really bad), but as in the dismantling process and Montage managed YouTube. As it turned out, I didn't have to do the rear brakes. I had to go through a front and rear disassembly process before ordering as I would only be replacing the front ones. No more grinding noise when braking. Now very smooth and quiet braking.
