Sponge Review Stop wasting money on those germ-ridden sponges, Lubrima Sponge Dish Sponge is versatile and picking up moldy germs isn't one of them! When I ordered this product I had some doubts, I mean here we have a product that should be an improvement on the age old kitchen tool. I mean how long do we use a sponge in the kitchen, I was always taught if it ain't broke don't fix it! I don't want to worry about mold growing in whatever appliance you wash dishes with, especially with all the germs that are floating around these days! As I flexed the product I have to admit I loved the feel of it! It was quite soothing between my fingers! They have small silicone cleaning tentacles that can be used for brushing or scraping. Its design also makes it more flexible, allowing you to reach traditionally hard-to-reach places like the inside of thin glass or tight corners. They do not wear out quickly and do not retain odors. They are very versatile. Since I've used mine to easily get dog hair out of my pants, I've used them to take a hot pizza pan out of the oven, as a trivet to put a hot pot on, and even as a helper to hold those super tight ones open cans! I've been using it for a while now and it seems like no matter how many times I use it, when I'm done I just run it under hot water, shake off excess water and hang it on the phone's little hole on the side to dry , but it doesn't smell unpleasant or musty! They seem to be very durable as the one I used hasn't lost a single tentacle and seems to do all my cleaning needs well! There are a couple of features I really like, one of which is that they are eco-friendly! You don't have to throw them out every few days because of germs or smell! I have a number of expensive pots and pans, they have a non-stick silicone lining and if you cook in them and something sticks to them, I unfortunately use a hard cleaning pad to remove the grease and grime, when you do this it also tends to get the to scratch flint, rendering the pan unusable. Try frying a potato in one, after scratching it all over, it sticks every time! But when I use the Lubrima Silicone Dish Pad, it removes grease and dirt easily and doesn't leave scratches! The only thing I would like to improve on these sponges is the ability to hold soap longer! But if I take dish soap and put it in a small saucer instead of a sponge and just dip the sponge in every now and then, there's no problem! This is a product I will buy again, just not sure when it seems to have due to its lifespan. I reviewed some similar silicone sponges and some of them were double or even triple the price! If you're tired of wasting money on these germ-filled sponges, give them a try and you won't regret it! But there were 3 of them, one ran off with my sister before I could get a picture of it!
