Review on OREI WP-L-GN Grounded Universal 2 in 1 Plug Adapter - Type L for Italy & Uruguay - High Quality - CE Certified - RoHS Compliant by Donnell Cursed

I bought two different types of adapters for a trip to Italy. A two pin plug sold by Revain said to be made specifically for Italy and this plug. Perhaps old inns or buildings in other parts of Italy use 2-prong plugs, but 2-prong plugs don't fit the 3-prong sockets that existed in each of the four different hotels we stayed at. This three prong adapter worked in any of them. It fits like a glove and I've never had any problems with it. A very nice feature is the additional outlet on the side. In contrast to the double sockets we are used to in the USA, our hotels in Italy invariably only had one socket per box. I highly recommend this adapter. Make sure you calculate how many devices you want to connect at any given time to figure out how many of these adapters you want to carry with you. I grabbed a standard 6ft household extension cord with three outlets at the end, just in case (light weight, takes up very little space), which proved very useful given the sparse outlets in the rooms.
