Review on K1092 Evolution Drilled Slotted Ceramic by Garrett Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive upgrade over standard or generic nameless parts.

Bought this kit for my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally commuter. I ride over 17 (Santa Cruz) every day and wanted a little bit better than stock brakes. It was about $40 cheaper than I could buy locally and I received it in less than 36 hours. Installation took about an hour, 10-15 minutes to overlap the pads and everything was fine. The best part is the dust-free ceramic pads. This setup costs a little over triple the price (depending on your location) of standard no-name rotors and semi-metal pads BUT they handle heat, wear better, are dust-free and perform better under hard and long braking . how I experience the daily commute. I also changed all of my brake fluid. I used ATE DOT 4. ATE 706202 original TYPE 200 DOT 4 brake fluid - 1 litre
