Nobsound customer service said any 12-24 volt power supply will do, but they don't really know how much power a 19 volt power supply will provide. The volume is acceptable when connected to a device with an amplified headphone jack, e.g. a smartphone, portable CD player, etc. NOTE: The micro connector of the supplied USB cable is slightly longer than standard micro USB connectors. Be sure to keep it as it is the only cable that will really fit if you plan to connect your amp to your computer. It is also not possible to use the USB port to connect anything other than a computer, even with the right combination of USB RCA or 3.5m adapters/cables. The only way to connect a USB audio source is to a USB port on your computer using the included cable. My Mac recognizes Nobsound as JiehiBR17.
