First, I need to state that I work in a electronics lab and have lots of experience with benchtop power supplies, including ones with constant current and voltage capabilities.I also purchased multiple units and my findings were similar for the four I tested.This product lacks a fine regulating knob, although the instruction manual discusses both rough and fine knobs. Dialing in the desired voltage and current was extremely difficult with only the rough knobs. Just a small fraction of a turn would produce very large changes.I was unable to get a true constant current output with my 12ohm test sample. I wanted .84A, but the amperage varied from 0.7 to almost 1.0A over 20 minutes. The amperage jumped up and down, so we are not talking about resistive heating effects.Also, the method for setting operational limits is confusing and poorly described in the manual. I was unable to get the limits to work on my test sample.
