I bought 3 of these boxes (12 in total) and hung them around the big Christmas tree in front of our house. They look amazing and I was able to position them in places that would otherwise not be possible with wire embellishments. At first I was a little sorry because I thought I would have to manually turn each light on and off with the remote control in the evenings. But then I realized that the remotes have a timer feature that essentially just leaves the light on for a few hours, then turns it off, and then turns it back on after 24 hours. Now the lights run on a reasonable timer all season long and I never have to go outside and turn them on or off manually. I will buy more next year. Make sure you have a ton of AA batteries as each one takes 4.
